Welcome to the IBS Conference on High-Resolution Earth System Modeling

We are very pleased to welcome you to the 2020 IBS Conference on High-Resolution Earth System Modeling in Busan.

With this conference, we would like to bring together experts in earth system modeling. A key goal will be to forge new collaborations to jointly analyze output from high-resolution earth system model simulations.

On Day 1& 2, we will have the following main conference sessions:

  • The coupled earth system

  • Extreme events across timescales

  • Scale interactions: From turbulence to weather to climate

  • Big data analysis of high-resolution model output

  • Regional processes

On Day 3, we host an open workshop on our CESM high-resolution simulations.

On behalf of the program committee, we wish to express our gratitude to the Institute for Basic Science and Pusan National University for their generous support of this conference.

We hope to welcome you soon to the beautiful city of Busan!
